The team
Working as part of a squad your key responsibilities will see you drive profitable growth within the squad’s categories, achieving sales and profit targets. You will also create and execute customer-centric category strategies to drive sustainable growth.
The role - 12-month Fixed Term
- Identify, develop, and deliver offers that meet our ever-evolving customer needs.
- Build sustainable, long-term supplier relationships.
- Exude passion and energy to foster enthusiasm among the squad in bringing category vision to life
- Be a role model within a high-performance environment focused on getting the best out of people
- Proven experience in retail buying/category management.
- A “customer first” approach to developing and executing innovative strategic plans that drive commercial outcomes.
- Experience in leveraging customer insights into actionable outcomes
- Success in building sustainable long-term supplier relationships
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate/influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong financial/commercial acumen
