We are proud to introduce an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of over 260 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic Category Manager to join our team.
Reporting into the Head of Product & Buying, in this pivotal role, you will be responsible for buying and development and procurement of product and ranges for the Global Retail Brands business, in accordance with the direction set by the Business, in order to meet sales, margin and stock budgets.
Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Planning the promotional programs for products 12 months ahead
- Working along side online teams and store teams to ensure strong sales results
- Ensuring Key focus on Sales , Margin & Sell though
- Re Adjusting promotional programs to achieve required results
- Weekly & daily reviews of sales reports
- Review results for Previous sales periods – Daily, weekly, monthly & yearly and solution based outcome for forward planning and present to business weekly (Monday Sales Meeting)
- Understand the product mix and consumer for our target market
- Plan VM for promotions and core including store assortments and ranges to ensure maximum ROI
About you:
- Minimum of 1-2 years plus experience working as a Category Manager or in a similar role
- You must have strong technical skills with a focus on product quality and improvements
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and organized team environment
- An ability to prioritize and multitask with excellent attention to details
- Background in retail (highly advantage)
