Band 2 - Salary Range $63,812 - $65,180 per annum pro rata + 11% Super

The Opportunity
The Catering Service fits within the Recreation & Facilities Activation Business Unit reporting to the Coordinator Leisure Centres. There are several catering sites between Caroline Springs and the Melton Township.
The objective of the role is to deliver professional, effective, and efficient operations of Council’s Catering Service, and provide a high level of food presentation and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, warming, stocking and distribution of food and beverages at the catering site.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, venue presentation and food preparation.
- Complete all day-to-day cleaning tasks to ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.
- Assist when required, to set up tea/coffee stations and provide a waiting service for corporate meetings, events and functions.
- Ensure all cash handling policy and procedures are adhered to at all times.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- This position requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic person that enjoys dealing directly with the community and displays a high level of communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant experience in the Food Services Industry and Barista experience is desirable.
- Completion of food handler course is desirable.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Must hold or be able to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check.
