We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants for our Sydney Regional site based in Wahroonga. We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of catering and dining services within the facility.
This role is an exciting part time opportunity. The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work 4pm-8pm.
Primary Objectives will include but are not limited to:
- Participating in food preparation and beverage service
- Assisting Chef and Chef Manager with required preparation and presentation of food items
- Maintaining and promoting clean and hygienic work practices
To be successful in the role you will be:
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment
- Food Handlers Certificate (desirable)
- Passionate about food and cooking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive `can do' attitude will ensure your success in this important role
- Professional, enthusiastic and friendly manner
- Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task
- Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus
- You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise tight work schedules
- Passionate about providing quality care to our residents
- Looking forward to working in a close team environment
