Our client is a leading independent Australian law firm that employ approximately 850 people, including over 100 partners.
They offer outstanding legal services to corporate, public sector and private clients, both Australian-based and those offshore doing business in Australia.

THE ROLE
We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant/Coordinator to join their Office Services team based in Melbourne’s CBD, on a 9 month contract.
The duties of this Catering Assistant will include (but not be limited to):
- Assisting Receptionist with offering and preparing coffee and refreshment orders.
- Ensuring client meeting rooms are promptly serviced and cleared following meetings.
- Liaising with internal teams regarding catering requests and ordering catering.
- Setup and serving of catering for client and firm events, this includes plating and heating of food.
- Basic food preparation for client and firm events.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety hygiene and food handling/preparation procedures.
- Providing wait service at client and firm events.
To be considered for this Catering Assistant/Coordinator position, you must have the following attributes:
- Some proven experience in food handling and customer service
- Barista qualification and RSA will be advantageous
- Polished and professional manner
- Confident communications

The salary is up to $77,000 package and working full time
