Catering Manager

The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Full time Chef Manager at our aged care residence in Cardiff Heights

Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.

Roster: Wednesday - Sunday (8:30am to 5:00pm)

What This Role Involves:

• Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
• Sound knowledge of IDDSI
• Experience in compliance with food safety regulations/  Experience with budgeting
• 70% Washing up own dishes as Catering staff will be attending service & cleaning of the Servery's
• Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices/ Dishwashing/ Customer service
• Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
• Assisting the broader team as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
•  Experience as an Chef Manager in Aged Care essential
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate 
• Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs 
• Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
• Strong communication skills
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
