Central Coast Local Health District are seeking suitably qualified Site Supervisor / Carps Controller to join their Environmental Services Department. They have 2 x 28 hours per week permanent part time positions available. 

As a Site Supervisor / CARPS Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Environmental Services during your designated shift. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all assigned tasks are performed according to organisational priorities and established practices and procedures. You will receive work requests from ward and departmental staff, assign tasks and projects to Environmental Services staff using the CARPS Task Allocation Management System, conduct cleaning audits, and train, mentor, and supervise staff.

As a Site Supervisor / CARPS Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facility meets and exceeds cleaning and hygiene standards, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors.

About You 

  • You have relevant qualifications and/or experience within Environmental Services.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to supervise a team, including the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • You have a knowledge of current industry standards relating to Environmental Services.
  • You have a current NSW Drivers' Licence.

What you'll be doing

You will be working in our Environmental Services Department. 

You will be required to supervise day to day operations for Environmental Services at a site level for designated shift to ensure all assigned tasks are performed according to organisational priorities and established practices and procedures. This may include receiving work requests from ward and departmental based staff and assigning tasks and projects to Environmental Services staff using established work methods and equipment, predominantly the CARPS Task Allocation Management System. The Supervisor will conduct cleaning audits and train, mentor and supervise staff.

The supervisor will oversee operations to ensure that KPI’s, cleaning and hygiene standards are achieved and maintained. The Site Supervisor (CARPS) will also oversee external contractors engaged on Environmental Services projects at a site level and within Community Centres and supervise specialist teams and project cleaning teams.As the leading healthcare provider in the region, Central Coast Local Health District is well known for its dedication to high quality patient care and community services.
