Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDP Regional Manager to oversee the CDP program in Halls Creek, Western Australia. The key elements of the role include:
- Manage the development and implementation of CDP strategic and operational plans to achieve organisational objectives
- Managing and developing effective culturally diverse staff across the Tjurabalan Regions.
- Accountable for the business operations of the employment services delivery function in line with operational objectives including but not limited to budgets, service delivery plans and performance frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the development, implementation and review of business unit operational plans and budgets.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a productive and motivated workforce.
- Support and guide direct reports with performance management processes.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and development that supports staff to perform their role effectively.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with community, Councils, local Indigenous organisations, peak bodies, businesses, not-for-profit organisations, government departments and other key stakeholders.
- Hold responsibility for performance, contractual compliance, and reporting requirements of employment programs.
- Maintain a high level of understanding of, and compliance with, contractual requirements including all guidelines and correspondence issued by funding bodies.
Mandatory Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a human services or community development management role.
- Demonstrated effective strategic leadership and management of culturally diverse teams with a positive and professional approach in a complex and changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes through the effective management of financial, physical and human resources.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prepare reports and grant submissions.
- Experience working with Indigenous Australians and organisations with an understanding of social, economic and environmental factors impacting on remote communities.
- Demonstrated experience in managing performance-based government contracts
- Knowledge of WHS regulations and demonstrated practical experience in administering WHS requirement in.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree or an appropriate tertiary qualification in Business Management and/or related discipline.
Other Requirements:
- A current C Class motor vehicle license.
- Ability to engage in regular travel (by road and air) inclusive of short stays away from home.
- Current National Police Certificate.
