About the RoleNPT WA is a rapidly growing business where the greatest challenge is to meet rising demand with quality solutions and services. The WA Regional Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business and will report to the CEO based in Victoria. Working closely with the NPT Management Team, the successful applicant will be the direct line manager for operational employees and will provide clinical and operational advice to employees and customers booking transport and ensure compliance to all operational policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
As a WA Regional Manager you will:
- Be our customer's first point of contact for all things in Western Australia.
- Support NPT to deliver high standard Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services;
- Be the first point of contact for employees seeking assistance, advice, guidance or support;
- Provide management and clinical support for employees;
- Ensure the performance of employees is compliant with regulations, protocols, company policies and contractual obligations, including audits (clinical and non-clinical);
- Identify and action training as required for employees;
- Initiate recruitment as required;
- Oversee the induction of new employees and closely monitor their progress and performance;
- Monitor the condition and serviceability of vehicles, equipment, branch/office facilities, manage repairs and maintenance and escalate issues as required;
- Investigate internal and external employee and customer complaints and escalate issues to the GM Operations and/or Human Resources Manager where necessary;
- Provide performance management support and guidance to employees;
- Monitor employee welfare and provide assistance/referral where necessary;
- Oversee the rostering of employees and ensure rosters meet operational needs, whilst remaining fair and appropriate for employees.
Required attributes and skills
- An ability to build a cooperative and respected work environment;
- Clinical skills adequate to liaise professionally with health professionals and employees and provide advice and guidance in clinical decision making;
- Excellent customer service, communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills;
- An understanding of clinical operating requirements and a working knowledge of standard equipment;
- A commitment to operational efficiency and the managerial experience to manage issues;
- A commitment to the provision of quality services and exceeding customer expectations;
- Competent in the use of office computer systems, phone, booking and rostering systems.
