Description
As the Regional Manager for the South East Asia business, you will lead day to day operations with a focus on growth across the region. You will assume full P&L responsibility while identifying and executing a strategy focused on capturing market share in the existing region along with growth across new markets.
- Lead the financial performance across all operations including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
- Oversee business development activities across new and existing customers linked to the growth strategy.
- Lead the delivery of proposals, bids, quotes and tender activities for the region.
- Ensure business operations are being executed in line with compliance, legislation, ethics and safety.
- Lead the critical stakeholder engagement across internal and external vendors to ensure strong relationships are being maintained across the customer network.
- Lead a team with a focus on retention and development of staff including the identification of growth and performance improvement.
Profile
The successful candidate will have extensive leadership experience which includes managing multiple business units across a region. You will demonstrate the ability to manage global operating standards within the constraints of country level regulations. You will also demonstrate a track record of growing a business with a diverse workforce and converting objectives into commercial outcomes.
Your ability to lead and influence the company executives will form a major part of this role therefore a strong commercial acumen and communication skill set are imperative. Experience in the mining and minerals sector will be critical to the success of this role along with exposure to managing mine site laboratory operations. Exposure to managing mineral laboratories will also be looked upon favourably.
In order to secure a visa for this role as an expat, it will require you to be qualified as a BSc (MedSCI), Mining Engineer or a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
