Are you a dynamic, wine-loving individual who wants to work day shifts only with a well established wine brand? We are looking for an energetic and fun person to take on a supervisor role across our busy Cellar Door and Restaurant. Working closely with our Cellar Door and Restaurant Manager, your main role will include the following:
- maximise wine sales through engaging tastings in our Cellar Door area and patio bar
- manage daily operations of our restaurant, including training and directing staff
- host detailed, structured tastings and masterclasses in our premium wine room
- set up, pack down and cleaning of all areas in the venue
- processing and packing wine for our membership program and other orders
Soumah is a family owned winery located an hour from Melbourne. We produce award winning wines, with a focus on interesting and emerging varieties from Italy, with these influences carrying through to our highly regarded restaurant. Soumah is open every day from 10am to 5pm, including all public holidays except Christmas Day.
We are looking for people with the following:
- a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- proven background in wine sales and are driven to exceed sales targets
- confident to lead a team during busy lunch service times
- high level of communication and customer service skills
- knowledgeable and passionate about all wine styles
- available to work five days a week which include both Saturday and Sunday
