Vintnerize Pty Ltd is the dynamic company behind the Pirathon, Gaelic Cemetery and Lindsay Wine Estate brands. We are on a mission to build our business to provide a wide selection of wines from the Barossa and Clare regions which everyone can enjoy.
In addition to producing first class wines Vintnerize owns a Cellar Door at 15 Vine Vale Road Tanunda, premium accommodation at Lanzerac Country Estate and a dwelling amongst our Flatview Vineyard vines at Stanley Flat. An exciting and challenging opportunity now exists to join our team as a Cellar Door, Events and Accommodation Manager based in Tanunda to manage these properties.
Reporting to our Operations Manager you will demonstrate your passion and experience for wines, event co-ordination and management and customer experiences in the Barossa and Clare Valleys.
Job Requirements Key Responsibilities
Cellar Door Management:
- Greet and engage visitors, providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Conduct wine tastings, offering in-depth knowledge about our products.
- Manage inventory, sales transactions, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Co-ordinating wine sales deliveries.
- Plan and execute a variety of events at our Cellar Door's two function spaces, including weddings, corporate events, public and private functions.
- Co-ordinate logistics to ensure that customers have arranged catering, entertainment, and staffing.
- Ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction.
- Managing accommodation enquiries and reservations for Lanzerac Country Estate and our tourist accommodation dwelling Grenache House at Stanley Flat.
- Liaising with our reset contractors to ensure top quality cleanliness and maintenance of accommodation facilities.
- Supervise and train casual staff, fostering a positive and customer-focused culture.
- Collaborate with other departments of our business to ensure cohesive operations and that we are producing wines which reflect customer demand observed in our Cellar Door.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality and tourist accommodation industry.
- Strong knowledge of wines.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Previous experience in event planning, co-ordination and execution.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
