Position Overview:
As the Centre Director, you will be the Nominated Supervisor and responsible for the overall management and leadership of Honour Early Learning Beenleigh. You will oversee the daily operations of the Centre, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, overseeing educational programs and ensuring they are maintained to a high standard, and creating positive relationships with families, staff, and the broader community and driving growth in occupancy.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the Centre’s team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and goals to support the Centre’s growth and success, including increasing occupancy rates.
- Oversee the training and professional development of staff members.
- Manage the Centre’s resources and administrative processes effectively.
- Overseeing staff practices to ensure they align with regulatory standards and uphold the values of Honour Early Learning
Educational Program Development:
- Oversee the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs that are responsive to the needs and interests of children.
- Ensure the Educational Leader’s curriculum reflects best practices in early childhood education and aligns with relevant frameworks and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Educational Leader by monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs, adjusting as needed to support children's learning and development.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing childcare Centre’s.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Family and Community Engagement:
- Build positive relationships with families, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Organise and facilitate parent engagement activities, such as family events, workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Act as a liaison between the Centre and the local community, representing Honour Early Learning in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a director Role
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within the early childhood education sector.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing childcare Centre’s.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children.
- Active Blue Card
