Position: Centre Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of dedicated educators, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement innovative educational programs that align with the centre's philosophy and goals.
- Build strong relationships with families and the community, promoting engagement and communication.
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Extensive experience in early childhood education and management.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of early childhood regulations and best practices.
- Ability to relocate to Norfolk Island and integrate into the local community.
Position: Assistant Centre Manager
Responsibilities:
- Support the Centre Manager in daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs.
- Provide guidance and support to educators, promoting professional growth.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven experience in early childhood education, with some leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative and community-focused setting.
- Willingness to relocate to Norfolk Island and become an active community member.
Benefits:
- Salary up to $120,000 p.a.
- Relocation assistance offered by the management committee to help you settle into island life-support will be offered by helping find a vehicle and accommodation. Accommodation usually comes fully furnished on the island to mitigate the stresses that usually come with relocating.
