About the Position:
As Centre Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and success of the Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to lead all aspects of the service; programming, critical reflection, community collaboration, parent and family involvement and inclusion. You will use many skills, ranging from organisation of daily tasks, Self Assessment Tool writing and implementation, staff mentoring, parent tours and most importantly planning and guiding children’s play-based education.This is a ‘on the floor’ position, for a 29 place Centre.
You will be joining a diverse team of Directors leading other closely related Centres. This team environment will allow you to grow in your skill ability. With a management team comprising of: Administration, Accounts, Human Resources, Marketing and Reginal Operations Manager.
You will be equipped with the support to continuously do better.You will lead your team in displaying continuous dignity and respect to all stakeholders of the centre, taking into consideration any cultural, socio-cultural or other differences, which may arise.You will ensure a calm and inviting environment in which the children enjoy, through organisation and participation in the day-to-day operations of the centre.
Current Qualifications/experience:
Diploma Early Childhood or studying towards
Experience in management and leadership
A wealth of experience and knowledge in the childcare sector
Current First Aid certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
Current Working with Children's Check
Current Child Protection training
(Can obtain all of the above before commencing work, if you do not currently hold these certificates)
