About the role
As a Centre Manager with Aurrum Kids, you will:
Be empowered to run an exceeding and compliant centre
Build a positive centre culture in line with Aurrum Kids vision and values
Recruit and inspire a team of passionate educators to deliver the best outcomes to children and families
Ensure that the centre presents to the Aurrum Kids Gold Standards utilising the purpose built indoor and outdoor environments
Create regular and routine connections with the local community, schools and organisations
Ensure that all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures are implemented, embedded, evaluated and reviewed in conjunction with team members and the Aurrum Leadership Team on a regular basis
Oversee the financial performance of the centre, including occupancy, wage management and operating expenses
Ideal Background
Relevant tertiary qualifications in early childhood (diploma/degree)
An understanding of Regulation/Legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Demonstrated experience in effective leadership and management in a large centre (over 100 places) across all areas of centre operations (quality, compliance, team engagement and recruitment, community engagement, marketing)
Have a relationship-first approach
Strong knowledge of CCS, ISS, and Kinder Funding
A keen interest in and strong skills in the commercial components of running a centre, including occupancy growth and roster management
