As the leader of our early learning centre, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Responsibilities
Lead the team
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and positive teaching environment.
Operational Lead
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Early Learning centre, including scheduling, enrolment, and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility to provide a safe and welcoming environment.
Community relationships
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the learning process.
- Act as a liaison between the centre and the community, organizing events and initiatives that promote the centre's mission and values.
- Prioritize the well-being and development of each child, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Implement strategies to address individual learning needs and celebrate the unique strengths of each child.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Several years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development, curriculum design, and pedagogical best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
