Centre Manager - Ft - Tamworth

Centacare is currently seeking a dedicated Centre Manager to join our headspace team and play a pivotal role in facilitating the delivery of care and support services to young people accessing the headspace Tamworth services. 

As Centre Manager, you will provide strong people leadership and effective administration to ensure the smooth functioning of the day-to-day operations.  Your focus on client service excellence will drive the implementation and refinement of systems, ensuring efficient service delivery and enhancing the overall experience for those accessing the service. 

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate and implement systems to support frontline care services, fostering a collaborative environment who strive to achieve the organisational goals.  You will work hand-in-hand with the leadership team to ensure alignment with Centacare NENW (Lead agency), headspace National Office, consortium partners and the input of the Youth Reference Group.

About Our Perfect Candidate

Essential Criteria

• Qualification or equivalent in either Management, Health Services, Psychology, Social Work, Health Sciences, Behavioural Sciences or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience at managing and developing operational systems for a health or community services organisation including effective planning and allocating resources in order to maximise operational efficiency and meet funding deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience at managing all aspects of staff and team performance, including recruitment, staff orientation, supervision, performance reviews, staff disciplinary action, performance development and training.
• An understanding of the service provision to young people and the challenges and experiences of young people living in a rural area.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated understanding of the principles of accountability systems and continuous quality improvement processes, including the utilisation of data systems, the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and the use of evaluation and risk management tools.
• Administrative, financial, project management and leadership experience, preferably within a mental health service delivery context.
