Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Centre Manager who wants to join our supportive team. In this role, you will work with our team of qualified early learning professionals to provide high-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future.

This is a Full-Time position and applicants need to be willing to learn and contribute to a caring, play-based environment.
Position Description:
- Responsible for the overall management and administration of the service.
- Supervise the implementation of developmentally appropriate programs for children.
- Recruit staff by relevant regulations.
- Maintain day-to-day accounts and handle all administrative matters.
- Ensure that the centre or service adheres to all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.
- Ensure that the centre or service meets or exceeds quality assurance requirements.
- Liaise with families and outside agencies.
- Formulate and evaluate annual budgets.
- Liaise with management committees as appropriate.
- Provide professional leadership and development to staff.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the centre or service.
- Manage the operations of the service in line with relevant Legislation, Industrial Relations Laws, Regulations, and National Quality Standards.
- Manage the service in line with the budgetary guideline.

Skills and Experience
- Holds a Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent
- Current Blue Card
- Current (or ability to obtain) First Aid, CPR & Asthma qualifications
- Good understanding of the Early Years Quality Framework
- Sound knowledge of current Regulations and Accreditation guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- A passion for children
- Commitment to maintaining current knowledge and attending additional training as necessary
- Own transportation
- Flexibility according to rosters
Previous experience preferred.
