The Role
As the Centre Manager, you will be at the forefront of propelling our coworking space to new heights, serving as the driving force behind its growth, development, and overall success. Reporting directly to the State Operations Manager, you will work in close collaboration with the hotel leadership team, taking on the responsibility for overseeing the coworking space's performance, fostering talent development, and maximising revenue opportunities.
This position offers a full-time opportunity, with working hours scheduled from Monday through Friday. Complimentary parking will be provided onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
- Foster collaboration among members, encouraging the exchange of ideas and resources
- Organise events, workshops and networking opportunities in collaboration with the community manager - engaging with Aerofoils wider community to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community, whilst also being revenue generating
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new members and retain our much-loved existing ones
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to enhance our ecosystem and services
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all members including but not limited to:
- Maintaining general cleanliness and appearance of the building throughout the day
- Manage customer invoicing and troubleshoot any system issues they may encounter
- Managing Hot Desk and Membership enquiries and bookings
- Event and Meeting Room enquiries, bookings and coordination
- Front desk (answering phones, distributing mail and welcoming visitors)
- Welcoming new guests and recommending services/products best suited to their needs - start to end sales cycle
- Lead and inspire a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive community spirit
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including members, partners, and vendors
Skills and Experience
- You are a strategic thinker, collaborative leader who is comfortable working with others as well as independently
- Create a friendly environment to facilitate high member satisfaction
- A problem-solver with a can-do attitude
- Has an eye for detail and can spot a needle in a haystack
- Is hospitable and anticipates the needs of others
- Is adaptable and able to think quickly on their feet
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (may also suit someone with hotel management experience)
- Have an apt for business and experience in business development/management
- Be familiar with the requirements and tests that come with people management and have the ability to resolve conflicts or meet various needs of clients
- Tech savvy and previous marketing experience desirable
