Cert 3 / Diploma Educators (or working towards)

Perfect Start Birkdale Road and Perfect Start Mary Street are offering Cert 3 and Diploma educators an exciting opportunity to expand their career as part of the friendly and supportive team at our beautiful services. Our services are growing rapidly, and we are looking to add to our already highly qualified team of committed educators.

Your responsibilities

• Planning and implementing a play-based curriculum for our 4-Year-Old group in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines and The Early Years Frame work.
• Delivering consistent, high-quality care and presentation to all work practices
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, parents, team members, and the wider community

Requirements

• Cert 3 or Diploma of Children’s Services (or working towards)
• Previous experience would be beneficial 
• Current Positive Suitability Notice (Blue Card)
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, QKLG and a range of play-based curriculum approaches.
• Success in establishing and maintaining positive parent and staff relationships
• A genuine interest in outdoor learning and sustainability
• Understanding of and commitment to competency early childhood practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework
• Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
