Legal Administration Traineeship:

What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?
- You would be employed by Work & Training – the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your traineeship.
- You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training consultant.
- The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by one of our amazing registered trainers.
- Full time employment and entitlements, including four weeks of holidays per year.
On completion of your traineeship, you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in LegalServices BSB30320.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide Reception backup, taking and transferring calls, taking detailed messages/notes, making appointments, first point of contact for clients
- Opening, updating and closing of client files
- Assist in keeping all filing up to date (electronic and paper files)
- Attendance on clients and other personnel, and professionals
- Making client appointments, carry out conflict checks (new clients)
- Witnessing signing of documents (all solicitors)
- Assist in producing client accounts
- Transcription typing (file notes and basic letters)
- Assist with Archiving file Management.
- Any other duties as required by Office Manager, PA’s or Solicitors
