The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students birth to 18 years.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Curriculum Division in the Vocational Education unit for a fixed term full time position till 31 December 2024.
The VET Manager role in the Curriculum Division of the VCAA is an exciting role leading and managing the VET Unit to ensure the ongoing monitoring, review, development and assessment of VCE VET programs and implementation of all VET programs as part of the senior secondary certificate.
In reviewing and developing VCE VET programs, the Unit Manager is required to keep informed of state, federal and global changes to employment, training, certification requirements, and other relevant factors.
The VET Manager will work closely and collaboartively with the VET Unit, the Senior Secondary Certificate Reform Division at the VCAA and the Department of Education. The role will require leadership and support in the development of Clean Energy Pathways and Core Offerings in the delivery of VET to Secondary Schools.
