The Opportunity:
As our beautiful early childcare centre continues to grow, we arelooking to employ additional educators that are qualified or working towards a Certificate III in Children's Services. This opportunity includes 3 full time and 1 part time opportunity; including a CERT III Educator position, two full time Traineeships and a part-time, short-term ISS position.

The Positions:
- Certificate III Early Childhood Educator
- Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, mon-fri on a rotating roster
- Similar to our Centre Float position, this position will be dedicated to supporting our staff during blocks of off-the-floor study time. Falcam is committed to promoting career progression opportunities for our staff and this position is an essential component in providing continuity of care to the children across the centre whilst Educators across the centre work to meet their study commitments.
- Two x Traineeship Positions - W/T Certificate III - Full Time
- Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week, mon-fri on a rotating roster.
- A great opportunity to earn whilst you learn. Get paid to train as you work your way towards a Certificate III qualification in Children's Services. Our current trainees are nearing completion of their traineeships and we are looking to extend the opportunity for a career in Early Childhood Education and Care to our wonderful community in Yass and the surrounding communities.
3. ISS Position - Preferred minimum CERT III qualified
- Hours : Part Time, 10 hours per week,
- ELOR currently have an ISS role available for 10 hours per week, for the next 10 weeks with the likelihood that the position will be extended. This position is available for an immediate start. Cert III with experience is ideal in this role due to the nature of the position.
The Job:
The successful candidates will be working alongside a team of experienced educators, led by an ECT qualified Nominated Supervisor. You will be part of a team that is responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. You are expected to be an active participant of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
Your duties will include but not be limited to –
- Implementing, observing and evaluating programs for children that align with our values and policies.
- Developing strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues, children, parents and families.
- Implementing and always upholding the policies and associated procedures and practices of the organisation.
- Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
The Criteria:
- Hold a current Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved Certificate III level (or working towards) early childhood education and care qualification.
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate - Child Care approved (HLTAID012 or HLTAID004) including current CPR certificate.
- Cleared New South Wales Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
- This position is identified as a Child Safe work-related position. All successful applicants will be subject to verified WWCC and must demonstrate a commitment to uphold our Child Safe Standards.
- Provide two recent work-based references.
- Australian Citizenship or Visa Eligibility, if required.
