About the Centre/Service Sessional Kindergarten in Vermont on school site, managed by the School Council
Work Days of the Role Wednesday 12.00pm - 4.15pm, Thursday & Friday 8.30am – 3.45pm, plus approx. once a month team meeting on a Wednesday evening (paid additionally).
Hours of Work of the Role 18.75 hours per week
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children.
- Contribute to the educational program as part of the Team and the Kindergarten as a whole to provide a high-quality program for all children.
- Assist with the smooth running of the program in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
- Work as part of a team to create a safe, supportive, stimulating, and educational environment for all children.
- Promote positive, comforting, and nurturing relationships with children.
- A supportive workplace that recognises you as a valued colleague, working together to provide learning to ALL children

- A Nominated Supervisor/Educational Leader who is out of the classroom to support and assist where needed
Qualifications Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood (we will also consider someone willing to enrol and study the Cert III whilst working)
