  • Salary:  $76k - $78k + Super

About the role

Merri-bek City Council is looking for a experienced Gardener as part of Merri-bek City Council’s in-house Area Maintenance team. You will play a vital role in helping to maintain our Parks and Open Space for all Merri-bek citizens to enjoy. You will enjoy contact with the community and working with a dynamic team to look after Council's Parks and Reserves and maintenance of landscapes throughout Merri-bek.

We are seeking someone that is enthusiastic, driven, and passionate about the community and delivering a positive customer experience both internally and externally.

Skills and experience require to perform the role
  • Certificate III in Horticulture  (Desirable but not mandatory)
  • Extensive experience in landscaping or park maintenance.
  • The ability to use horticultural machinery.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence and Medium Rigid Level or equivalent would be highly regarded.
