SalarySoftware and Applications Programmers play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and documenting program code. Here are some of their key responsibilities:
1. Analyzing Requirements:
o They research, consult, analyze, and evaluate system program needs.
o Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes.
2. Coding and Development:
o Translate detailed designs into computer software.
o Write, update, and maintain program code to meet system requirements, designs, and technical specifications.
o Develop continuous improvement and continuous delivery strategies across system design and software development.
3. Testing and Debugging:
o Test, debug, diagnose, and correct errors and faults in an applications programming language.
o Ensure programs and Applications, including technical security controls, perform to specification.
4. Documentation:
o Write and maintain technical program and end-user documentation.
o Provide operational procedures and guidelines.
5. Security and Risk Management:
o Perform forensic analysis to identify anomalies or threats.
o Manage testing and automation of Software and application deployments.
o Identify and mitigate risks that may affect performance and security throughout the product lifecycle.REQUIRED SKILLS
- A minimum bachelor's degree in ICT.
- At least a minimum of 3 years' work experience relevant to the role.
- Proven skills in E-commerce operations
- Able to operate Flash, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
- Skills in SQL Server, Java Servlets, and Java Beans.
- Skills in ITIL, SDLC, Database, Network Security, E-commerce, M-commerce.
