About the role…
EnergyAustralia’s Strategy Enablement & Operations business unit are seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to drive and embed the implementation of change across a range of projects at the organisation. As businesses evolve to keep pace with technological advancements and respond to competitive disruptions, the rate of change accelerates meaning effective Change Management is essential for project success.
This role will play a key part in building our Change Management capabilities, manage our existing Change Management professionals and provide hands on delivery in our projects. Responsibilities include:
- Develop Change Management plans and drive adoption & accountability
- Work closely with stakeholders to minimize negative effects and maximize benefits, along with identifying and addressing resistance
- Implement structured methodologies to drive faster adoption and ensuring smooth transition during organisational shifts
- Define success metrics, assessing & reporting performance on a regular basis
- Manage a small team of change professionals, develop the team and uplift performance
- Establish a Change Management community of practice to uplift capability across the organisation
Be Impactful when you are applying…
You will have strong experience in large scale planning, development and delivery of enterprise wide programs that have effected multiple areas of an organisation. Additionally, you will have some of the following competencies;
- Extensive organisational Change Management experience, including large scale business transformation and technology programs (minimum 5 years experience)
- Large scale planning, development and delivery of enterprise wide programs
- Delivery experience within some of the following Domains; Utilities, Technology, Regulatory & Compliance and Digital.
- Extensive experience in organisational communication, including facilitating workshops & group discussions
- Prior experience managing teams either delivery or people leadership (desirable, not mandatory)
- Experience within the Adkar model / Prosci Certification
- Experience in either Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile delivery (and accompanying certifications)
- Tertiary Qualification or relevant experience within Project Management, Business Administration or adjacent
