The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint an engaging hospitality professional to a Part time Chef/ Cold larder position at our aged care residence in Curl Curl Private Hospital.
Preparing delicious meals for our grateful residents; this role is ideal for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day!
Public transport accessible and onsite parking available.
Roster: Friday 9am - 2pm /Saturday 6:30 - 3:00 & 3:30 - 7:30/Tuesday 3:30- 7:30/Thursday 3:30 7:30
What This Role Involves:
- Preparing and presenting food for our residents
- Stock ordering, rotation, stocktaking and Customer Service
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
- Preparing and presenting texture modified foods
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in kitchens and food preparation
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantage)
- Previous experience in aged care or catering (advantage)
