Form of workAdventCare is a 'not for profit' organisation offering aged care that embraces Christian values. We are seeking applications from Hospitality for our Yarra Ranges Facility in Warburton. Experience in a similar role or environment an advantage, but not essential.
- The available shifts are:
- Saturday and Sunday Cook 0900-1700
- Contributes to menu planning to meet residents’ needs and preferences
- Preparation, serving, presentation, and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program (FSA)
- Washing dishes and cleaning in accordance with the FSA
- Assist in the monitoring and recording requirements of the FSA for example, recording temperatures, cleaning schedule completion, receival of goods
- Reports and assists in the follow up of customer complaints and Tell Us about it Forms for food services
- Adheres to the duties list of the rostered shift.
- A high standard of personal appearance and conduct is expected of every employee, that is: clean, neat, tidy, punctual, and respectful language and manner toward residents, visitors and to each other.
If you offer
- Prior hospitality experience in kitchen
- Enthusiasm and strong self-motivational skills
- Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Covid Vaccinations
