Form of workLittle Scholars School Of Early Learning Burleigh Heads is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable cook/chef to join our team.
The successful applicant will be required to cook and prepare morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for approx. 150 children per day, ranging from babies to school-age children.
Menu planning, ordering and stock control will also form part of the daily duties for this role.
Our centre cook/chef will also plan and implement weekly cooking experiences with the children.
The successful applicant should have:
- Food handling certificate
- Cooking experience and qualifications
- Knowledge of the Food Safety Standards
- Working with children check
This is a permanent part-time role for up to 30 hours per week.
We have flexible working arrangements available to ensure a healthy work-life balance, as well as a discount on child care.
This role is part-time hours and 5 days per week and the successful applicants need to be available for shifts anywhere between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.
