Chef / Cook

Strange company is highly regarded as one of the top bars in Fremantle and Perth with a reputation for excellence, creativity, and customer service. It's food and beverage menus are some of the best around and always exceeds expectations.
We are looking for an experienced full time Chef to join our dynamic team who can keep up with the fast-paced environment and variety of dishes on our menu.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Production of consistent and high-quality food
• Conducting regular temperature checks; ensuring food safety
• Maintenance of a clean and safe kitchen / workspace

Experience & Qualifications:

• Have knowledge of OH&S and food hygiene.
• Be able to demonstrate solid skills in food preparation and presentation.
• Have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Be able to work under pressure and unsupervised.
• Certificate or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or related discipline will be highly regarded as is any current certification in Food Hygiene.

As well as having thorough knowledge of safe food handling procedures, you will have previous experience working in an establishment of this nature and thrive working in a fast-paced environment with a small team.
