AddressGreat opportunity for an experienced Chef to join the growing kitchen team at Crossways Hotel, Strathfield South in NSW.
Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.
Key Requirements are:
- Train junior kitchen staff
- Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude
- Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service
- Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
- Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
- Create prep lists for the kitchen crew and cook dishes following orders
- Manage food costs and inventory.
- Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
Permanent Full Time role with starting salary of $73K - $77K (plus super).
