My client is seeking an experienced and hands on Head Chef to take the reigns at their locally loved pub in regional NSW. In this pivotal role, you will be in charge of the overall menu development, offering your creative and cost effective dishes to this already successful venue! As the ideal candidate, you will have an understanding and some experience in the hotel/pub sector, and the focus on quality and consistency of a la carte venues.To be successful:
- Relevant experience in quality pub environments.
- At least 3 years within a similar role.
- Proven ability to design, cost and implement innovative menus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and presence.
- Fantastic ability to communicate with all levels of guests, staff, management, suppliers
- A good personable nature, life's too short to be angry
- A hands on Management style, this is not an office role
- Comparable experience managing a medium sized brigade
- Financial kitchen management and reporting.
