- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen
- Experience in menu planning and food costing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu
- Assist in the development and planning of new dishes and menus
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely manner that meets our quality standards
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Manage and control food costs and wastage
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining high standards
