Position:Chef De Partie

Our company is expanding, and we need someone who can cook to relieve the head chef on pans! 

We are offering:

• ·      A 3 – 5 day week, depending on the right person

• ·       No split shifts, predominantly 7am – 3.30pm day shifts only.

What we are looking for:                                                                                                                                                                                    

• ·       Someone who can competently cook our a la carte café menu during opening hours.  There will be menu prep involved in between orders. 
• ·       We are a busy, high-volume cafe with good equipment and systems – we need someone who can handle a fast pace and work with a small team.
• ·       We need someone who can handle all stages of preparation, baking and service. We have good recipes to work from
• ·       A qualified chef with solid experience on both larder and pans – and has excellent health and safety standards
• ·       Prior experience as a Chef in a similar establishment for a minimum of two years
• ·       Current food handling and safety certifications
• ·       Honesty, punctuality, fun

About us: We are a small, but busy café in East Launceston.  We operate between 7.30am - 2pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 2pm on Saturdays.  We close on Sundays and public holidays.  We have a committed and professional team who work hard to provide an excellent experience for our guests.
