Great opportunity for an experienced Chef to join the growing kitchen team at Fortune of War in the heart of Sydney.
Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.
Key Requirements are:
Train junior kitchen staff
Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude
Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service
Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
Job will require approx. 38 hrs per week.
Lead, mentor, and manage the culinary team.
Develop and plan menus and daily specials.
Create prep lists for the kitchen crew.
Manage food costs and inventory.
Qualifications required - Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
Permanent Full Time role.
