The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Full time Chef Manager with leadership experience at our education site in Roseworthy.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.
Roster: Monday to Friday (with some function work)
What This Role Involves:
- Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
- Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
- Hands on position with management skills
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
- Assisting the broader team as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- People management skills, function catering and cafe catering.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
- Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
- Strong communication skills
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
