About the role
Harvest Hotels are searching for experienced chefs to join the kitchen team at The Aussie Inn. This role will suit people who have creative flare coupled with strong technical skills. The ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is critical.
You will report directly to the Head Chef. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of food standards. This position will strongly influence the overall performance and reputation of the hotel in the local community.
The venue is a favourite of locals and visitors alike. It's reputation is set on simplicity, great service and a fun and laid back atmosphere.

Skills and experience
To be considered;
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and understanding of the restaurant and dining industry and the trends in the current environment
- Confidence and ability to create and deliver high quality food strategies and menus
- A focus on delivering the highest standards of presentation, product and overall customer experience
- Sound demonstration of product knowledge, technical skills and food standards
- Ability to work in a team environment and liaise with FOH staff
