About the roleThe Chef is to provide an exceptional healthcare experience through the delivery of high quality, safe and nutritious food that is customer focused.Achieved through the day-to-day management of the preparation, cooking and distribution to areas using best practice food service strategies that ensure the provision of high-quality food and customer service experiences to everyone.The Chef will demonstrate effective inter-personnel skills and an ability to work cooperatively and flexibly so as to not disrupt the operation of the Health Service.
Position overview.- Part Time (32 hours per fortnight) Ongoing position
- $63,029.20 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bringYou will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills involving use of English with a proven ability to operate under direct or routine supervision and provide effective and safe direction to a team.You will have experience in health or similar commercial food services environment with qualifications including a certificate of trade competency is required from a recognised training college/school of at least four years education.
