Zonzo Estate, Yarra Glen, is seeking an experienced and qualified full-time Chef who enjoys working in a busy, fast moving kitchen. You will be part of a committed and professional team. We specialise in large functions and weddings.
Responsible for:
• Cooking dishes in accordance with the menu;
• Planning and development of menu in collaboration with Head Chef and Restaurant Manager;
• Ordering food and kitchen supplies;
• Discussing food preparation methods with kitchen staff, wait staff and managers;
• Preservation of food;
• Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Essential Criteria for this Role
- Fluent in verbal & written English with good communications skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food Safety and OH&S.
- Attention to detail, flexibility and reliability.
- Knowledge in Italian Style Cooking an advantage

MUST HAVE At least a relevant Diploma qualification plus two years of full-time post-qualification experience in the relevant position; OR at least 3 years of experience as a Chef.
Hours: 38 hours a week $70,000 - $90,000 a year plus superannuation
Location: 957 Healesville-Yarra Glen Road, Yarra Glen, Victoria 3775 (1 hour’s drive from Melbourne)
