Market Eating-house is Restaurant located in the sunny sea side town of Bunbury. We are a faced paced restaurant with a focus on seasonal produce cooked over wood and charcoal fire inspired by flavours from the middle east and Mediterranean. We are family operated organisation who truly value our team, nurturing their development and growth as people and professionals. We offer multiple avenues for growth within the restaurant, off site catering, and a soon to be opened event space.
We will be undergoing a small refresh of our dining room in the coming weeks and are looking to hire some more team members immediately to help us bring to life our new style of menu that will be launching at the end of March.
Qualifications & experience
- Qualified chef with minimum 2 years experience post apprenticeship
- Experience in an alacarte style service kitchen
- Experience with wood fired/charcoal cooking is a bonus
Tasks & responsibilities
- Control and management of a section
- Supervision and guidance of junior staff and apprentices
- Stock rotation, portion control, cleaning and maintenance of kitchen
- Ability to work with in a team with a positive attitude
