Chef/Cook – Westward Ho Golf Club (West Beach)
Reporting to the General Manager, Westward Ho Golf Club are looking for an enthusiastic and highly dependable Chef or Cook to join the team. Westward Ho Golf Club prides itself on its customer first approach, so the successful applicant must be flexible and be willing to go the extra step for members and guests.
The position will be on a casual basis (approximately 30 hours per week) with flexibility for the right candidate. Hours will mostly be during the day with some evening shifts for scheduled functions and events.
The successful applicant will be able to deliver a tasty daily menu and a variety of functions while adding their personal flair and style. The incoming will have the ability to co-ordinate kitchen operations including menu planning, stock control and delivering functions, while working closely with other areas of the business.
Essential:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar environment.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent time management skills and can move with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to plan, adapt and create several types of menus.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain Kitchens five-star food premises rating.
- Have passion and drive to continually grow, diversify, and positively influence the business.
- Can work as part of a small team, assist other departments, and contribute as required.
Desirable:
- A current South Australian RSA badge
