Form of workFantastic opportunities are now available for skilled and enthusiastic Chefs and Apprentices to join our friendly, hardworking kitchen team at Brisbane's renowned restaurant; Madame Wu on a full-time basis.
Madame Wu is a proven popular, busy restaurant at Eagle Street Pier and we pride ourselves on utilising only the best quality produce and boutique suppliers to dictate our menu, based around East Asian cuisine that is well suited to the Queensland environment.
We are looking for talented, passionate and dedicated staff as these roles are a vital part of our Restaurant's success.
To be considered for these exciting positions, you must possess the following:
- Trade qualifications
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in all cooking techniques and styles
- Experience leading staff during service
- Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
- Excellent organisational skills & grooming standards
- Understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP
- You will have a valid working visa / residency - this is essential to this role. We do not consider short-term applicants.

- Flexible availability of a 7 day/night roster

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a natural talent for cooking and passion to serve modern fine dining food in a casual environment. A background in a similar environment would be beneficial, but not necessary.
Working under our head chef, we're looking for a driven individuals, who thrive under pressure. The ideal applicants will be self-motivated, responsible and have exceptionally high standards in everything they do. We are looking for candidates who are self- starters with initiative.
