The Clayfield Seafood Markets are looking for experienced Chefs, Apprentice Chefs, Line Cooks and Front of House staff young and old to join our team.
We have multiple Full-Time roles available for immediate start.

Serving simple yet the highest quality comfort food such Fresh Seafood from our Fishmongers or Fish & Chips, Burgers, Salads, Schnitzels from the kitchen we have Multiple roles available.
Fresh Seafood boned and filleted on site for our Fishmongers is a big part of the role along with ensuring that all our cooked hot food is served to the highest standards. Senior Chefs will be responsible for leading our kitchen team during various shifts and will support our General Manager in any number of duties expected in a busy commercial kitchen environment. We have a mixed team of Apprentice Chef's, Casual Cooks and Juniors to support our highly experienced Senior Chef's and due to the growth of our business we require additional experienced staff.
We are a very busy little shop but there are NO EARLY STARTS NO LATE FINISHED. We open 10am-8pm Monday to Thursday 10am-830pm Friday and 8am-8pm Saturday & Sunday. This is perfect for those with a family or for those looking for a change from the long punishing hours and prep lists of Al la Carte restaurants.
We have numerous highly qualified experienced Chef's working for us whom have come from fine dining backgrounds that simply wanted a change and are loving the hours and flexibility we offer. We have saved marriages (seriously) Ex Helenica Sous Chef, Ex Virgin Airline In Flight Catering National Manager, Ex Versace, Ex South-port Surf Club to name a few. We are the best at what we do but believe in work life balance.
Reporting to the General Manager, Operations Manager & Owner you will be required to work a 40 hours roster which will be a mixture of days & nights across weekends and weekdays to meet the demands of the role.
These positions are Full Time after a 3 month probationary period and will be paid commensurate to the level of qualification and experience $55K-$70K .
How does a 4 day week sound? Lots of our team do 4 x 10 hours days and enjoy a 3 day weekend.
