SalaryBoatyard Launceston (Fish & Friends Bar & Restaurant Pty Ltd) is looking for full time Chefs/Cooks to work with our kitchen team who will report to the Head Chef.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure food preparation and presentation adheres to company standards
- Work effectively within the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and products to guests
- Demonstrate a working understanding of food, hygiene and safety principles
- Adherence to House Policies and Procedures, including OH&S legislation
- Related cookery qualification is preferred and at least 3 years relevant experience
- Advance hygiene knowledge
- Safe and accurate knife skills
- Experience with pans and grill required
- Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods
- Flexibility with working hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to contribute to planning for menu specials
