The Chief Executive Officer role with the company is now vacant and the Board seeks an outstanding, high calibre individual to lead the organisation into its next chapter.
- The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of assets and services according to the vision of WHC, the strategic plan, and statutory and regulatory obligations.
- They provide influential leadership for the long-term sustainability and growth of the company by identifying business development opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders to maximise growth, and position the company as a leading provider of sustainable socially responsible housing for women.
The successful candidate will be someone with strong strategic leadership capabilities, business management nous, good judgement and decision-making capabilities. They will have strong existing networks, excellent communication and presentation / media skills, and a passion for assisting others in the housing and homelessness sector. They must be confident and resilient but compassionate.
The successful candidate will also possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Social Policy or related discipline (MBA or equivalent highly regarded)
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Executive or CEO role in a similar organisation
- Expert knowledge of Housing & Homelessness Sector
They will also need to pass a Mandatory National Police Check.
