Your primary responsibilities will revolve around providing inspirational leadership and strategic direction. We're seeking someone who can foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and inclusivity, while also developing and communicating a clear vision aligned with our mission and values. Leading by example, you'll champion a collaborative work environment that nurtures innovation, professional growth, and excellence in service delivery.
Collaborating closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in strategic planning and implementation. This involves continuously assessing community needs, identifying emerging trends, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to maximise the impact of our programs and services.
In addition to internal leadership, we're seeking a CEO who will be a passionate advocate for the rights and needs of those affected by violence, both within our organisation and in the broader community. Cultivating strategic partnerships and representing Mackay Women's Services in external forums will be crucial in raising awareness, influencing policy, and driving positive social change.
To thrive in this role, you'll need a proven track record of leadership in senior management roles, preferably within the nonprofit sector or social services field. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, along with a commitment to feminist principles, social justice, and the empowerment of women.
If you possess a blend of strategic acumen, empathy, and a dedication to making a difference, we invite you to apply.
