The appointed candidate will continue to promote and foster investment in its staff and community, promoting an environment of education, learning and opportunities for the leaders of tomorrow to advance their careers. Investment in its existing infrastructure is also occurring across its numerous sites.This opportunity represents a unique chance as new CE to lead a high performing, influential organisation through a challenging yet exciting next phase, continuing to refine and build off its current strong foundations.Role OutlineThe Chief Executive (CE) provides pivotal and strategic leadership, management and direction to the Sydney Local Health District and in conjunction with the Board, is responsible for sound governance of the Local Health District to ensure the District meets its statutory, operating and reporting requirements. - Strong record of achievement in management at executive level in a significant and geographically dispersed organisation delivering health, human capital or other complex services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the health sector, in particular administration of a public health system.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant sector experience
