As CFO at QPS, you'll take the helm of the finance function, driving strategic oversight, policies, and risk management to propel this department towards achieving the vision of making Queensland the safest State. Your leadership will be pivotal in implementing their ambitious financial agenda, revolutionising financial strategies, and enhancing organisational capability and maturity. From maximising value to steering targeted investments, you'll ensure financial governance is robust and effective.

Your agility will be crucial as you navigate complex challenges, backed by strong communication and negotiation skills. - Provide strategic leadership for QPS’s Finance functions
- Spearhead a comprehensive reform program for fiscal sustainability, modernisation, and maturity enhancement.
- Direct financial and resource planning to optimize investments and operational outcomes, ensuring robust governance and assurance frameworks
- Lead engagement with central agencies for QPS’s budget and forward estimates
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholder groups
